April is...

...National Poetry Month!!!!

And that means the return of the infamous poetry door.  (Also known as the closet which normally has the Glee READ poster on it.)  The poetry door will be up all month so make sure you stop by at least once and try your hand at crafting your very own poem.  It can be funny or sad, profound or inconsequential, rhyme or not.  Various student-created poems will be featured on this blog so come on by for your chance at Internet Immortality!

Also, make sure to take a look at the big library windows because throughout the month of April they will be transformed into a GIANT calendar.  Each day will feature a different poem.  As April is also National Humor Month and the 1st is April Fools Day, we have a particularly fitting example of literary greatness.

BoB update!

Noooo!  I was so rooting for Drawing From Memory and it lost.  Chime lost too.

So the final battle is down to Between Shades of Gray, Life: An Exploded Diagram AND the zombie book which will be announced tomorrow.

Depending on who the zombie book is, I might have to root for Between Shades of Gray

What about you?

I wouldn't want to be in Jonathan Stroud's shoes.  His book took the big win last year and now he has to pick the champion this year.  Good luck!
